Miramar Tree Service removes storm damaged trees after a hurricane or a strong squall moves through Miramar. A storm does not always knock a tree flat. More often it splits the canopy, rips off heavy limbs, uproots a tree partway, or leaves a tree standing but broken and dangerous. We come in after the storm and take those damaged trees down and haul them off.
Storm damage takes a few forms. A tree can be uprooted and leaning, with the root plate lifted out of the ground. It can be split down the trunk where two main limbs pulled apart in the wind. It can have major limbs torn out of the canopy, hanging or already on the ground. Or it can be standing but stripped and structurally failed, ready to come down in the next wind. All of these need to come down before they do more damage.
A storm damaged tree is more hazardous to remove than a healthy standing tree. The wood is under tension from how it broke, the root system may be compromised, and the whole thing can shift unexpectedly when you start cutting. We assess each one before we touch it, figure out where the weight and the tension are, and rig it accordingly. That assessment is the part that keeps the job safe, and we do it on every tree before the saw comes out.
We take the damaged tree down in controlled pieces, and we haul everything off. That means the trunk, the split limbs, the brush, and the stump if you want it ground. After a storm, a property can be buried in debris from one tree, and we clear all of it. Full cleanup and haul away are included, so you are not left with a pile of storm debris in your yard. We leave the property clear and ready for whatever comes next.
We also tell you when a storm damaged tree can be saved. Not every split or lost limb means the tree has to come down. If the trunk is sound and the structure is intact, a damaged tree can sometimes be pruned and cabled and kept. We give you an honest read on that. If it is a lost cause, we say so and take it down. If it can be saved, we tell you how. We are not going to take a tree down that did not need it.
The timing of storm removal matters. After a hurricane, the whole area is calling, and we work through the list by priority. Trees on structures come first, then trees blocking access, then the rest. We are honest about when we can get to you, and we do not promise what we cannot deliver. When we do show up, we do the job right and we do not leave a mess behind.
